Fan favourite Friedemann Vogel will be back in Japan for the second time this year, for his sixth participation in the highly anticipated triennial World Ballet Festival in Tokyo, from 1 to 15 August. Friedemann will start the festival with Polina Semionova, performing with her the stunning William Forsythe duet "Herman Schmerman" from 1 to 5 August, before his fellow Stuttgart Ballet star Alicia Amatriain joins him from 8 to 12 August to dance the Act 2 pas de deux from John Neumeier's "Lady of the Camelias". For the Sasaki Gala on 15 August, Friedemann and Alicia will perform Itzik Galili's "Mono Lisa".
