Friedemann Vogel in Rome for Dior x Dance Collaboration with Rome Opera Ballet

After performing Il Pipistrello  and Manon as guest artist of the Rome Opera Ballet, Friedemann Vogel returns to Rome for another performance with the Rome Opera Ballet, this time in the world premiere Nuit Blanche, choreographed by the French choreographer Sébastien Bertaud for a Philip Glass Evening on 29 March. This new commission will reunite Friedemann with the Rome Opera Ballet artistic director Eleonora Abbagnato, and feature the ballet stars in costumes designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri of Dior.

Feel the emotion of the ballet 'Nuit Blanche', from behind-the-scenes to the closing performance at the Opera House in Rome. A voyage of discovery, from the savoir-faire that goes into creating the hand-painted flowers on Maria Grazia Chiuri's creations, to choreography by Sébastien Bertaud and performances by Eleonora Abbagnato and Friedemann Vogel.
Monsieur Dior himself cultivated a lifelong passion for dance and also designed costumes for the Ballet at the Paris Opera. Today, Maria Grazia Chiuri follows in his footsteps by creating costumes for 'Nuit Blanche', an homage to the musician and composer Philip Glass.

For the special duets evening of the highly anticipated Sanremo Music Festival on 8 February, Friedemann Vogel generated much buzz in the Italian press with his pas de deux with Eleonora Abbagnato choreographed by Giorgio Mancini, for the performance of “Aspetto che torni” by festival favourite Francesco Renga and Bungaro.

40 years after its creation, John Neumeier’s romantic masterpiece The Lady of the Camellias returns to the Stuttgart Ballet for a much-anticipated revival with Friedemann Vogel reprising the role of Armand Duval to Alicia Amatriain’s Marguerite Gautier for the opening night performance on 16th January with more dates to follow. Fredemann Vogel performs in the Stuttgart Ballet season opening "Shades of White" on 13th October

World Ballet Star Friedemann Vogel back on stage at Stuttgart Ballet for the season opening performance “Shades of White” on Saturday 13th October. The triple-bill includes Concert for Flute and Harp choreographed by John Cranko, The Kingdom of the Shades (from La Bayadère) choreographed by Natalia Makarova after Marius Petipa, and Symphony in C choreographed by George Balanchine. More performances to follow over the next weeks in October.

Onegin hits the big screens in cinemas around Germany on Sunday 23 September

For one night only, Stuttgart Ballet principal dancers Friedemann Vogel and Elisa Badenes will perform in the International Ballet Gala in Valencia on 22 September at the Palau de les Arts, where the entire box office proceeds from this charity event will be donated to the Spanish Association Against Cancer. Friedemann and Elicia will be performing “Legende” and the balcony pas de deux from “Romeo & Juliet” both by John Cranko.
