In addition to her work as a cultural broker, Charlene Lim also provides a selection of creative services, including
writing, voice-overs, and giving guest lectures.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
Charlene has been invited to give guest lectures on subjects ranging from international touring, arts management, creative producing and cultural brokering for practitioners, students, and international delegations, in the UK and in Singapore.
She has spoken at the National University of Singapore, the Singapore Management University, LaSalle College of the Arts, and the British Council Showcase in Edinburgh.

PHYSICAL CONVERSATION featuring photos of Friedemann Vogel by Oliver Kröning
Writing has always been a passion for Charlene.
In 2020, she was invited by the world-renowned ballet star Friedemann Vogel to contribute to his charity project “Physical Conversation” by writing the prologue for the limited-edition art-box containing photographs of the dancer taken at unusual places by Oliver Kröning of the Galerie Kernweine, with theatres being closed to the public during the pandemic. The art box was sold out within days, with all proceeds going to Olgäle Stiftung (a foundation for sick children) in Stuttgart.
Interviews
Charlene interviewed Friedemann Vogel for the MINIMALISM issue of the magazine Numéro Berlin, which was published in June 2023. Her next interview for the FUTURE issue of the magazine will be out in November 2023.
