Friedemann Vogel brings his award-winning solo “Soul Threads” back to Italy

Winner of two Danza & Danza awards for Choreography & Interpretation and for Lighting Design, “Soul Threads” co-created - by Friedemann Vogel and Thomas Lempertz - returns to Italy as a highlight of the Rome Opera Ballet’s 2025-2026 season, once again with site-specific lighting design by Fabiana Piccioli, for two performances with the Teatro Nazionale in Rome, on 12th and 13th December.

This will be Friedemann’s third performance in Rome this year, after dancing John Cranko’s “Onegin” in spring at the Rome Opera Ballet and Maurice Béjart’s “Boléro” at the Caracalla in summer.
